What is melatonin, everything you need to know
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the brain that regulates our body's sleep-wake cycle. It was discovered in 1958 by dermatologist Aaron B. Lerner, who isolated the hormone from the pineal gland of cattle.
